Custom Power Solutions
Specializing in small to medium volumes, we have provided hundreds of customer-specific solutions. We’ll work closely with you to develop the right product and can take the product through agency approval.
At TSI Power, we have extensive know-how and field experience, coupled with a can-do attitude which allows us to provide cost-effective and timely solutions.
Step 1: Defining the Product
We begin by listening carefully to our customer to understand their application in detail. First, we try to determine if one of our standard products might be used. If a custom solution is required, we will work with our customer’s engineering and project management teams to determine the most cost-effective approach. After we agree on requirements, we submit a proposal that defines the product, production lead time, commercial terms and conditions.
Step 2: Developing a Prototype
The next step is the development of a prototype, which will incorporate the product definition contained in the formal quotation. The prototype will be built and tested thoroughly to ensure compliance with stated specifications.
Step 3: Agency Approval Process
Our relationship with Intertek/ETL allows us to quickly obtain safety approval of new or modified products for domestic and foreign markets. At TSI Power, we are familiar with the major UL- and IEC-applicable standards and will work with a major EMC lab when EMC compliance is required.
We design the highest quality products using careful component selection for the highest-level of thermal performance. At TSI Power, we do not use cheap components or inferior insulation systems and carefully test new products to ensure the highest quality and reliability.
